AI chatbot calms First-Time Moms' C-Section fears

NCT ID NCT07419529

Summary

This study tested whether an artificial intelligence-based education program could help first-time mothers feel less fear and anxiety before a planned cesarean section. Researchers enrolled 75 women and provided AI education to some, comparing their levels of surgical fear, anxiety, and postpartum comfort to those who did not receive it. The goal was to see if this non-drug approach could improve the birth experience by reducing psychological stress.
