AI eye on the heart: new tool spots hidden amyloidosis
NCT ID NCT07529860
First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study will test an artificial intelligence (AI) program that analyzes heart ultrasound images to find early signs of cardiac amyloidosis, a condition where abnormal proteins build up in the heart muscle. About 200 adults with thickened heart walls will be scanned, and the AI's findings will be checked against standard tests. The goal is to see if the AI can help doctors diagnose this serious disease sooner, so patients can get treatment faster.
