First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether an artificial intelligence (AI) program can help doctors detect a certain type of heart attack (occlusion myocardial infarction) earlier in people who come to the hospital with chest pain but whose standard ECG does not show clear signs. About 500 adults will be randomly assigned to have their ECG read with or without the AI tool. The goal is to see if AI helps start treatment faster and reduces heart muscle damage.
