First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests whether an AI-assisted ECG reading is as safe and effective as the usual approach for quickly deciding if a patient with chest pain is having a heart attack. About 4,670 adults with chest pain suspicious for a heart attack will be randomly assigned to either AI-guided or standard care. The main goal is to see if the AI method misses any serious heart problems within 30 days.
