NCT ID NCT07316231

First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study is testing a new AI-enhanced 12-lead ECG that can estimate the risk of hidden atrial fibrillation (AF) from a normal heart rhythm recording. AF is a major cause of stroke and heart failure, but it often goes undetected. Researchers will enroll 350 adults with AF or related conditions to see how well the AI tool predicts future heart problems over 1-2 years. The goal is to help doctors start treatment earlier and prevent serious complications.
