AI heart monitor could catch stroke risk before it strikes
NCT ID NCT07316231
Summary
This study is testing a new AI-powered heart monitor (ECG) that tries to spot hidden signs of atrial fibrillation, a dangerous irregular heartbeat, even when a patient's rhythm looks normal. Researchers will enroll 350 adults who have or are at risk for this condition to see if the AI tool can accurately predict who will later develop serious heart problems or strokes. The goal is to see if this technology helps doctors detect risks earlier and prevent complications.
