First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study is developing a computer system that uses CT scans and artificial intelligence to predict whether liver cancer has started to invade nearby blood vessels, a condition called microvascular invasion. Currently, this can only be confirmed after surgery by examining removed tissue. The goal is to help doctors plan better treatments before surgery. The study will involve 400 adults with liver cancer who are scheduled for surgery.
