AI vs. doctor: can a smartphone device diagnose your sick kid at home?
NCT ID NCT07500532
Summary
This study is testing a new home medical device that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to help diagnose common childhood illnesses like asthma flare-ups, ear infections, and strep throat. Kids aged 3-17 will either use the device at home with a video doctor visit or get standard in-person care. The main goal is to see how well the AI's diagnosis matches a doctor's diagnosis, and to check if using the device is convenient for families.
