AI spots brittle bones in your old chest X-Ray

NCT ID NCT07421713

Summary

This study is testing an artificial intelligence (AI) software called Osteo Signal. The goal is to see if the software can accurately detect signs of osteoporosis or bone weakness in standard chest X-ray images, using existing patient data. Researchers will compare the AI's findings to results from the current standard test, a DXA bone density scan. No new participants are needed; the study will analyze data from about 595 people who already had both a chest X-ray and a DXA scan.
