AI-Powered breath test could revolutionize lung disease diagnosis
NCT ID NCT07253883
Summary
This study is testing a new handheld device that aims to make diagnosing asthma and COPD faster and simpler. Participants who are already referred for standard lung testing will breathe normally into the device for 75 seconds. The device records their breath patterns, and artificial intelligence (AI) will analyze this data to see if it can accurately identify the correct diagnosis compared to current, more complex tests.
