AI vs. doctors: the race to spot hidden brain bombs
NCT ID NCT06118840
Summary
This study is testing whether a new artificial intelligence (AI) tool can help radiologists better detect brain aneurysms on standard CT scans. Over 6,450 patients across China will have their scans reviewed either with the real AI's help or a fake version, and neither patients nor doctors will know which is used. The main goal is to see if the AI improves how accurately these dangerous bulges in blood vessels are found, which could lead to earlier treatment and better patient health.
