First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested a new method that uses artificial intelligence to combine signals from a pulse oximeter and ECG to measure blood pressure continuously without needles. 30 adults having surgery were monitored with both the new method and the standard invasive method to see how accurate the new approach is. The goal is to find a safer, more comfortable way to track blood pressure during operations.
