Summary
This study tested whether a quick, handheld ultrasound with artificial intelligence could measure bladder fullness and help schedule pelvic scans faster. It included 520 girls and young women aged 8–21 who came to the emergency room with lower belly pain. The goal was to see if this AI tool could reduce waiting time for the actual pelvic ultrasound.
