Can a Color-Coded warning stop doctors from blindly trusting AI?
NCT ID NCT07328815
Summary
This study aims to see if simple visual reminders can help doctors avoid automatically trusting potentially incorrect advice from AI tools like ChatGPT. Fifty qualified doctors in Pakistan will review six simulated patient cases where the AI's suggestion is sometimes wrong. Researchers will compare doctors who see the AI advice with a warning system to those who see it without, to see if the warnings improve their critical thinking.
