Your phone could soon spot vein disease
NCT ID NCT05978986
Summary
This study tested whether a smartphone app using artificial intelligence could accurately diagnose early-stage vein problems like varicose and spider veins. Doctors took photos of patients' legs, and the app analyzed them to see if it matched the doctors' own expert diagnoses. The goal was to see if this technology could become a helpful tool for faster, more accessible screening.
