Can a phone app make hospital stays less scary for kids?
NCT ID NCT07446920
Summary
This study tested whether a smartphone app using artificial intelligence could help nurses learn better ways to care for children in the hospital with less fear and trauma. About 100 pediatric nurses were randomly assigned to either use the new training app or receive standard education. Researchers measured if the app improved the nurses' knowledge and attitudes about this gentler approach to care.
