First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tested whether an AI-driven mobile app could improve nurses' knowledge and attitudes about atraumatic care—ways to reduce pain and stress for hospitalized children. 97 pediatric nurses were randomly assigned to use the app or receive standard training. The app included educational modules and an interactive chat feature. The goal was to see if the app could make nurses more confident and skilled in providing gentle, child-friendly care.
