Can you trust AI for medical advice? doctors put it to the test

NCT ID NCT07199231

Summary

This study is checking if AI tools are safe and accurate enough for doctors to use when making medical decisions. Medical residents will use an AI tool called OpenEvidence for real patient questions, but will double-check its answers against trusted medical references. Experts will then compare OpenEvidence's answers to those from other popular AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini to see which is most accurate and reliable.
