First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This early-stage study tested the safety of a new topical gel called AH-001 for male pattern baldness. Researchers gave different strengths of the gel to 64 healthy volunteers and men with hair loss to see if it caused any side effects. The main goal was to check safety and how the body processes the drug, not yet to prove it regrows hair.
