Summary
This phase 3 study tests whether the drug AGSAVI can lower blood pressure in people with essential hypertension that is not well controlled by the drug AGLS. About 318 adults with high blood pressure will receive either AGSAVI or AGLS, and their sitting blood pressure will be measured over 10 weeks. The goal is to see if AGSAVI provides better blood pressure control.
