Can living next to a farm make you healthier?

NCT ID NCT06950775

Summary

This study aims to understand if living in a neighborhood built around a working farm (an 'agrihood') improves residents' health compared to a similar standard neighborhood. Researchers will follow 600 adults in two Texas communities, tracking their diet, physical activity, weight, blood pressure, and social connections over time. The goal is to gather evidence on whether this type of community design supports healthier lifestyles.
