New pill aims to tame deadly Stress-Induced heart condition

NCT ID NCT07263139

Summary

This study is testing a new oral drug called AGP100 for people with a serious inherited heart condition called CPVT. CPVT causes the heart to beat dangerously fast during physical or emotional stress, even with current medications. The trial will check if AGP100 is safe and if it helps patients maintain a normal heart rhythm while exercising. Ten participants will take three different doses of the drug over six weeks while continuing their usual heart medication.
