Care workers walk in Seniors' shoes: can a special suit improve elderly care?

NCT ID NCT07160907

Summary

This study is testing a training program to see if it helps care workers in nursing homes better understand and care for elderly residents. Researchers are having some workers wear special suits that simulate the physical challenges of aging, like stiffness and reduced vision. They will then measure if this experience improves the workers' knowledge, empathy, and communication skills with residents.
