Scientists test Light-Up game to predict fall risk in seniors

NCT ID NCT07375888

Summary

This study tested a new system to measure reaction time and movement speed in older adults with age-related muscle weakness, known as dynapenia. Researchers had 104 participants perform a simple task: when a light turned on, they ran to touch it. The goal was to see if this test could help assess agility and potential fall risk, not to provide treatment.
