New bone drug shows promise for older women

Summary
This study tests a new medicine called AGA2118 to see if it can improve bone density in postmenopausal women who have weak bones but no fractures. About 379 healthy women aged 55 to 80 with low bone mineral density will receive either the drug or a placebo for 12 months. The main goal is to measure changes in spine bone density, with the hope of preventing future bone loss and fractures.
