Summary

This study tests whether Afluxin®, a natural gel that forms a protective barrier in the esophagus, can reduce heartburn and acid regurgitation in people with mild to moderate GERD. About 208 adults will take Afluxin® or an inactive placebo for 7 days. The goal is to see if this device can provide a safer alternative to long-term acid-reducing medications.
