First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tested two treatments for polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy (PCV), an eye disease that can cause vision loss. 60 patients received either eye injections of aflibercept alone or aflibercept combined with a special laser treatment. The goal was to see which approach better closes abnormal blood vessels and improves vision, with fewer follow-up treatments needed.
