New motorized device aims to improve hernia repair

Summary

This study looks at a new motorized tool called MaxTack™ used to attach mesh during minimally invasive ventral hernia repair. The goal is to see if it works well and is safe. About 35 adults having hernia surgery will be followed for 3 months to check for problems like infection or hernia coming back.
