New heart procedure could free patients from lifelong medication

Summary
This study tests a new system that uses heat to destroy tiny areas of heart tissue causing irregular heartbeats (atrial fibrillation). About 150 adults who have not responded to medication will receive this procedure. The goal is to safely restore a normal heart rhythm and reduce the need for long-term drugs.
