One-Shot heart fix: study tests combining two AF treatments
NCT ID NCT07041125
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study looks at whether doing two heart procedures at the same time is safe for people with atrial fibrillation (AF). The first procedure uses a device called FARAPULSE to fix the heart's electrical problem, and the second uses a Watchman device to close off a part of the heart where clots can form. Researchers will compare people who get both procedures together to those who get them separately, tracking safety and success over time.
