Scientists test kidney drug's effect on healthy stomachs

NCT ID NCT07446881

Summary

This small study tested how a single dose of ADV7103, a drug being developed for a rare kidney condition, affects stomach acidity in healthy adults. Researchers measured stomach pH levels in 12 healthy participants under both fasting and fed conditions. The goal was to understand how the drug behaves in the stomach before testing it in patients with kidney disease.
