Summary
This study compared two dental procedures designed to widen a narrow upper jaw in adults. Researchers tested a standard method using small screws against the same method combined with tiny punctures in the bone. The goal was to see which technique created more effective skeletal expansion with fewer unwanted tooth movements in 24 adult participants.
