New PET tracer could reveal hidden Hormone-Making tumors

Summary

This study tests a radioactive tracer called [68Ga]Ga-PentixaFor to see if it can better identify adrenal tumors that release extra hormones. About 80 adults with high aldosterone or cortisol levels and at least one adrenal tumor will get one PET scan with the tracer. The goal is to improve diagnosis and guide treatment decisions.
