First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looks back at medical records of 70 adults with advanced polycystic kidney disease (stage IV CKD) who are taking the drug octreotide LAR. The goal is to find out which early signs, like kidney size, best predict how fast kidney function will get worse over time. No new treatments are being tested; instead, researchers hope to learn more about the disease to help guide future care.
