Scientists hunt for early warning signs in inherited kidney disease

NCT ID NCT04630613

Summary

This study aims to find new biological markers in blood and urine that can better show how severe early-stage autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD) is. Researchers will enroll 60 young patients (ages 15-40) with early, mild disease. They will compare different markers against kidney size from MRI scans to see which ones best reflect the disease's status.
