First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tested whether a special elastic tape can reduce hand swelling in adults with a wrist fracture who are wearing a forearm cast. 23 people participated, and researchers measured finger and thumb swelling after one week. The goal was to see if the tape could help prevent the discomfort and extra doctor visits that swelling often causes.
