Prison ADHD drug trial aims to cut recidivism

Summary

This study tests whether a common ADHD medication (OROS-methylphenidate) can help prisoners with ADHD manage their symptoms and reduce problem behaviors. About 150 adults in French prisons will receive either the drug or a placebo for several months. Researchers will track changes in ADHD severity and incidents like fights or self-harm.
