First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study looked at whether the type of ADHD a child has affects their pain sensitivity. Researchers measured how much pressure caused discomfort in 84 children aged 6 to 17 with ADHD. They used a device to apply pressure to different body areas and asked children to say when it became painful. The goal was to understand if ADHD subtypes are linked to chronic pain and pain thresholds.
