Breakthrough study aims to end medication guesswork for autistic kids with ADHD
NCT ID NCT05916339
Summary
This study compares how well different ADHD medications work for children who also have autism. Researchers will test two common stimulant medications first, then try other options if needed, involving 500 children ages 4-17. The goal is to help doctors choose the right medication faster, reducing the current trial-and-error approach that families often face.
