Summary

This study observes 1,679 surgical patients who had major bleeding and received blood transfusions. Researchers want to see if giving more fibrinogen (a protein that helps blood clot) early on improves survival and daily function after 30 days. The goal is to find the best balance of blood products to use during emergencies.
