New drug aims to stop esophageal cancer from coming back after surgery

Summary
This study tests whether the drug adebrelizumab can help prevent esophageal cancer from returning after surgery. About 142 adults who had their cancer completely removed will receive either adebrelizumab or a placebo. The goal is to see if the drug improves how long people stay cancer-free and overall survival.
