New drug aims to stop esophageal cancer recurrence in post-surgery patients

Summary

This study tests whether the drug adebrelizumab can help prevent esophageal cancer from returning after surgery. About 142 adults who had their cancer completely removed will receive either adebrelizumab or a placebo. The main goal is to see how long patients stay cancer-free, and researchers will also monitor side effects.
