Summary
This study tested whether using a specially adapted rowing machine could improve heart health and quality of life for adults who use motorized wheelchairs. Twelve participants completed 12 supervised rowing sessions over about seven weeks. Researchers measured changes in fitness, how easy the machine was to use, and whether the exercise program was safe and enjoyable.
