Trial withdrawn: could daily radiation tweaks ease harsh treatment side effects?

NCT ID NCT05488626

Summary

This study aimed to see if a more personalized form of radiation therapy, adjusted daily, could reduce severe side effects like cough, shortness of breath, and trouble swallowing for people with stage III non-small cell lung cancer. It planned to compare this daily adaptive approach against standard radiation, with both groups also receiving chemotherapy. The trial was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
