New dengue drug trial aims to knock out virus faster

Summary

This study tests experimental antiviral drugs in people with early dengue fever (less than 48 hours of symptoms). About 500 participants will receive either an experimental drug or standard care to see if the drug can clear the virus faster and reduce complications. The goal is to find safe treatments that shorten illness and prevent severe disease.
