Summary
This study tested a therapy called acute intermittent hypoxia (AIH) in 68 people with incomplete spinal cord injury. AIH involves breathing short bursts of low-oxygen air to trigger the body's natural repair processes. The goal was to see if it could improve arm and leg function, balance, and quality of life. Results are not yet available, but the approach aims to boost neuroplasticity without surgery or drugs.
