Summary

This study aims to find the hidden germs that cause serious brain and spinal cord infections in Guadeloupe. Researchers will use advanced genetic sequencing on spinal fluid from 100 patients to identify viruses or bacteria that standard tests miss. The goal is to improve diagnosis and discover new or emerging tropical pathogens.
