Summary
This study looks at how an infected tooth (acute apical periodontitis) changes the jaw muscle (masseter) in 60 healthy adults. Using ultrasound, researchers measure muscle thickness and stiffness before and after treatment. The goal is to understand muscle changes, not to test a new treatment.
