Summary
This study tested two acupuncture methods for sudden neck pain caused by cervical spondylosis (arthritis of the spine). 124 adults received either manual acupuncture at distant points or electroacupuncture at local points daily for 10 days, plus neck exercises. The goal was to see which better reduced pain and improved neck movement.
