Tiny threads under skin tested to help COPD patients breathe easier

NCT ID NCT06948578

Summary

This study tested whether a single session of thread-embedding acupuncture could help people with COPD. Researchers compared the real procedure to a fake one to see if it helped patients walk farther and improve their quality of life over three months. The goal was to see if this technique could be a helpful add-on to standard COPD care.
