Could tiny threads under your skin ease your allergies?
NCT ID NCT06858137
Summary
This study tested whether adding a special type of acupuncture, where tiny threads are placed under the skin, to a standard allergy nasal spray works better than the nasal spray alone. It involved 64 adults with allergic rhinitis (hay fever) over eight weeks. Researchers measured changes in stuffy/runny nose symptoms and quality of life to see if the combined treatment was more helpful.
