Needles and beans tested to tame untreatable cancer pain
NCT ID NCT07489625
Summary
This study is testing if adding two types of acupuncture to a strong pain medication works better for people with severe cancer pain that standard drugs can't control. It will involve 30 patients who will receive the medication along with electroacupuncture and ear acupressure. Researchers will measure changes in pain levels, medication doses needed, and side effects over two weeks to see if the combination is safe and helpful.
